Elk River

The Elk River tailwater, located near historic Lynchburg, TN (home of the Jack Daniels Distillery), is a small fishery
but boasts some of the most remote trout water in Middle Tennessee. The flow below Tims Ford Resevoir hold trout for
approximately 12 miles. With only 3 public access areas the Elk is the least pressured tailwater in the state.
One can float the Elk for 5 miles and see nothing but pristine wild country.
